Exhibition Visual Identity

I was thrilled to get a chance to work on the refresh of this exhibition visual identity for ENERGIES. Ranging from concept development to printed posters and digital animation, the project also included working with the gallery team on the layout of the gallery space itself, sign writing of the title treatment on a feature wall, and animated content about the artists to go TV screens within the space.

ENERGIES 2021 profiles artwork from senior secondary schools across the Gold Coast, providing for many students their first opportunity to be exhibited within a gallery.

This exhibition has been running for over 30 years, helping launch the careers of many established Gold Coast artists like Michael Zavros, Rebecca Ross, Michael Candy and Abbey McCulloch.

Artworks equally celebrate the diversity of technique and style being taught on the Gold Coast, as students are encouraged to experiment with materiality and try new forms of media. Like previous exhibitions, this year will contain a broad range of approaches including painting, installation, sculpture, drawing and digital.
